CLC Preschool News
It's been a wonderful winter. The Preschoolers have really enjoyed being outdoors in the snow.
In February, the big event is Valentine's Day. We will have a special little celebration with the Preschoolers to celebrate the theme of love. Our Bible verse for this month is "Love each other as I have loved you" (John 15:12). We will discuss what servanthood means and how we can apply it in our own lives.
We are looking forward to visiting The Arbors in Shelburne to make Valentine Bears with the residents on February 10th. Our winter break will be February 22nd through March 1st and we will reopen on March 3rd.
Thank you for your prayers and support!

The purpose of Community Lutheran Christian Preschool is to provide the best quality educational experiences in a loving, Christian environment, where your child can grow and learn basic developmental skills appropriate for the early childhood years. Community Lutheran Christian (CLC) Preschool provides an appropriate learning environment with opportunities for children to explore via individual, small group, and large group experiences. Teachers set clear limits and expectations to create a sense of trust and security in their students. Classroom staff serve as facilitators, role models, questioners, conversationalists and nurturers so as to provide opportunities for lively child-to-child and child-to-adult interaction. The program is designed to meet the many developmental needs of children ages three to five. This program offers a variety of choices appropriate for different stages of development. Opportunities for individual and group play are provided. There is a balance of child-directed and teacher-directed activities to support the learning process. The learning space provides opportunities for children to do meaningful work, experience success, and show their accomplishments. Quality children's books and reading materials are available to each child. The room is aesthetically pleasing and physically inviting, with room for movement and drama, as well as quiet relaxation. A variety of materials are ready to explore and manipulate. Children have daily opportunity to care for plants and animals in the classroom. There is access to the outdoors for play, movement, and exploration of the environment .
