Please join us for our 6:00 p.m. Soup and Bread Suppers during Lent; a service follows at 7:00 p.m.  It's a great time for fellowship!  If you want to bring a soup and a loaf of bread to share, there is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the
 Fellowship Hall or call Kathy in the office.
The soups do not need to be homemade!

You are welcome to join the monthly prayer group that meets on the last Sunday at 10:00 in Pastor's office.  Please talk to Craig Robertson or Marty Smith if you have any questions.

Our program for the Ladies Retreat on May 7 and 8 at the Middlebury Inn will be entitled, "Embrace Grace."  It is based on a book written by Liz Curtis Higgs and should be read prior to attending the Retreat.  If you think that you will be attending, (this is not a commitment) and you would like to order a hardcover copy of the book at the discounted group rate of $11, you must place your order no later than TOMORROW ~ you can call Sandy at 878-5609 or e-mail her at sdienst@pshift.com . Please make checks payable to Sandy Dienst and leave them with Kathy in the church office. 

The "May We Pray 4U" ministry continues!  If you've been wondering how you can help with this endeavor, here's an opportunity.  If you'd like to bake some cookies, Ann Eaton has the recipe for you.  If you know of a group, organization or place of business that may benefit from a delivery of delicious cookies and anonymous prayer, please let us know!  Contact Ann at 865-4403 or email abeaton_2001@yahoo.com
 
You may have heard that Community Lutheran Church is now on Facebook!  It's a work in progress, and we need you to make it work.  The wonderful events and gatherings we've had over the past few months have provided some beautiful photos.  These would make a great addition to the Facebook page.  If you would NOT like any photos of you to be posted, please contact Ann Eaton or Kathy in the office.
